After waiting seven long years for my disability case and ultimately having to terminate my previous attorney, I was beginning to lose hope. Hiring Jared was the best decision I could have made. From the very beginning, Jared was knowledgeable, professional, compassionate, and genuinely cared about my case. He accomplished in just a matter of months what hadn’t been accomplished in seven years. Thanks to his expertise and dedication, I was finally awarded my disability benefits.

Jared is a very professional and compassionate lawyer. The SSI process can be very complicated and time consuming but Jared took care of everything; all the paperwork and filings and made sure we were prepared for the hearing and he was there as well. We were kept informed through the entire process as to what to expect. Due to his diligent work my friend won her case and can now live a better life. We would recommend Jared Walker highly to anyone needing help with the Social Security Disability process.

I would have lost my SSI hearing and case if I didn't find Mr. Walker. After being denied twice I requested a hearing and was not sure if I should try and go it alone and save the money or get a lawyer. I chose to represent myself and quickly realized at the beginning of the hearing I was not prepared. I requested a postponement of the hearing to get representation. This is when I found Jared, he immediately eased my mind and laid out a detailed plan to fully demonstrate and prove my disability. With his knowledge and expertise in disability law he fully prepared me with the necessary documents and tools for my hearing. I was awarded a fully favorable judgment. After being denied and discouraged by this system for years Jared brought me hope and shed light on a dark situation and really just made everything much easier for me. Not only did he win my case for me, he even helped secure an immediate early release of all my built up back pay. I finally got lucky at something and chose Mr. Walker and I hope you do as well. NormalIy, I do not post reviews, however I can highly recommend Jared. He is very knowledgeable and always makes time to return calls and emails promply. He is also very good at keeping you informed about your case. I only wish I had found him prior to hiring one of the bigger firms for my disability case. I have been a disability lawyer for almost two decades. I take cases through the Appeals Council (you see a judge, then the case goes to someone who reviewed judges decisions) then I stop. Those stages of a case are within the SSA itself. SSA is a department of the federal government. Every department that issues a license or benefit can also take it away. (Think of a liquor license.) When the department refuses to give it (disability) or takes it away (liquor license) you have the right to appeal it (SSA-judge; liquor license state commission). When after it’s over, the department still refuses to give you the license or benefit, you can take it out of the department. Social Security judges only do SSA cases. Federal district court judges do pretty much every thing. It’s a long chain from the federal district court, to the federal appeals court; and finally, the Supreme Court. Jared comes into the case right where I leave off. I don’t go to the federal courts. I met Jared through kind of a fluke. I think he sent out a blanket letter to lawyers who work through the Appeals Council that said: Hey! I’m here. I’d never met him or seen his work until I suggested him to a client; she hired him; and he got the case sent back to the Social Security judge who changed the unfavorable to a favorable decision. It’s hard to find people who are within driving distance who do federal cases. I know there are people who have a national practice and are very, very good. In my experience, Jared is every bit as qualified as those who conduct seminars for people like me. I think he’s lost one (could be two) cases at the federal level. I’ve referred so many clients over the 8 years I’ve known him, it’s hard to remember. I’ve met him face-to-face one time, so it’s not like we’re pals who hang out playing lawn darts. Mostly, he’ll send me an email that he’s accepted a case; I don’t hear from him again for up to 2 years; and he emails back that the client won. He only does federal work. I only do hearings. So our paths don’t cross. He just won another case this week and wanted to share my experience. This is not an advertisement for me or Jared. He didn’t ask me to write it. I don’t care if you find me for a consultation or not.(I’d rather you don’t. I have enough work of my own.) I’m just sharing my experience for what it’s worth.

I called to get some information for my mom and Jared was very knowledgeable and informative. He was also kind and understanding. Definitely would refer to him for any social security legal advice!!
